WALLACE, FRANCES (NEE GODSOE) - Peacefully Monday, March 7, 2011 at the age of 86, Frances Godsoe, loving wife of the late Dan Wallace. Beloved daughter of the late John Godsoe and Lucy Porter. Dear mother of Daniel (Lise) and her cherished granddaughters Megan and Tamarra. Predeceased by her sisters Phyllis, Vivien, Margaret and brother Harold Godsoe. She will be sorely missed by many nieces, nephews and close friends. Frances worked for many years in the Federal Public Service. From 1945 to 1954 she was personal secretary to Paul Martin Sr. Frances won a few life master points in bridge while living with Dan near Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia at their retirement home, “River’s End”. Francis had a sharp mind and a charisma that was noticed by people everywhere. She was well-read and had a well-developed funny bone.
