Peacefully, at the Beach Grove Home on Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, of Ernie Beagan, formerly of Donagh, age 88 years.
Beloved brother of Sarah (Peg) Byrne (James- deceased). Ernie is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, John Henry and Mary Ellen Beagan; brother, James Beagan; sister, Ella May Slavin (Basil - deceased) and twin sisters at birth.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011, 6-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, Oct. 20, at St. Patrick’s Church, Fort Augustus, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to St. Patrick’s Cemetery would be appreciated.
