It is with great regret that we announce the sudden passing of Michael on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of Mrs. Carolyn (MacKinnon) Novak, Sydney, and the late Michael Novak.
Michael enjoy spending time outdoors surrounded by wildlife. He loved learning and reading biology.
Besides his mother, Michael is survived by his sister, Kimberley Ann Novak, Yellowknife, N.W.T.; as well as many uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father, Mickey, uncle, Charlie Novak, maternal grandparents, Alex and Alice MacKinnon, paternal grandparents, Charles and Catherine Novak.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., from 7-9 p.m. Memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, in the funeral home chapel with Fr. Norman MacPhee officiating.
