GOOBIE, Donald Patrick– Passed away October 8, 2011 at H.S.C., at the age of 75 years, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his wife Joan Marie (Kavanaugh); parents: Charles & Stella (nee Hogan); brothers: Charles & Cecil; sisters: Catherine & Agnes. Leaving to mourn, daughters: Darlene (Peter McGory), Karen (Frank Furtado) of Miss., ON; son Donald James (Andrea Mercier) of Niagara, ON; grandson Nikkos; granddaughters: Raven, Tamará, MaCayla, Myranda; brothers: Edward (Joan Skanes), Gilbert (Elizabeth Pynn), Gerald (Nancy Godin) of ON, Shirley (Frank Greeley) of ON, Florence (Jack Melee), Patricia Goobie; lots of nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to Father Francis Slattery for all his words and comfort when we needed him most. Also special thanks to Dr. Joshi and his 4th Fl. North A team of doctors and nurses. The care was appreciated. Donald was an employee of Browning Harvey for over thirty years. At Donald’s request, cremation has taken place.
