JENSEN, DIANE FRANCES - The death of Diane Frances (nee Dean) Jensen, wife of Kent Jensen of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Sunday, October 16th, 2011. Born in Toronto, ON, she was the daughter of the late William and Harriett Dean. Diane granduated from Leaside High School in 1961 and worked for her entire career in the insurance industry in Toronto. She was a talented figure skater and ballerina in her youth and throughtout her life she was an avid gardener. Kent and Diane enjoyed traveling together and live theatre very much. They moved from Toronto to Fredericton in 2004 to enjoy retirement.
There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will take place in the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, October 19th, 2011 at 1:00 PM with Fr. J.J. Dolan officiating. For those who wish and in lieu of flowers, memorial tributes made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
