Passed peacefully away on Friday, October 23, 2009 at Dr. Charles L. Legrow Health Centre in the presence of her loving family, Anne (Ryan) Doyle of St. Andrew’s, Codroy Valley, formerly of Red Island, Placentia Bay, at the age of 91. Predeceased by her husband, Walter; sisters: Elizabeth Barry, Nellie Fitzpatrick, Margaret Martin and her brothers: Frank, Patrick and William Ryan. She was dearly loved and admired by her children, step-daughters and grandchildren. She leaves to mourn her children: Kevin (Angela), Ottawa, Sylvia, Sister of Mercy, Stephenville, Marilyn and Brendan (Bernadette), St. Andrew’s, NL, Brian, Elora, Ontario and her step-daughters: Marie, Ottawa, Pauline, NJ and Catherine, Ohio and her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Leaving to mourn also, sisters-in-law: Josephine Ryan (Stephenville) and Margaret Doyle (Stephenville), as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and special friends. She will be resting at The Church of The Precious Blood, St. Andrew’s. Wake vigil will take place at The Church of The Precious Blood on Saturday, October 24, 2009 from 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Sunday, October 25, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, October 26, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Church of Precious Blood or St. Mary’s Hermitage Foundation, Codroy Valley.
