WILLISTON, PAMELA “PAM” RUTH - Pamela “Pam” Ruth Williston, 50, of K.E. Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, October 15, 2011, after a lengthy battle with several health related issues. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Leland and Charlotte (Newton) Williston. Pam was a loving sister, aunt and great aunt. She was a member of Highfield Baptist Church and a member of the Cathie Phillips Guild (WMS). She enjoyed cross-stitching, playing table games and spending precious time with her family and friends. Pam will be deeply missed by her sister, Nora Carruthers (John), their children: Janet Rossiter (Shawn), their children, Emmalee, Moshe and Christiana; Julie Smallwood (Matthew); Jeffrey Carruthers (Kristy), their children, Jordan and Brooklynn; Joel Carruthers (Nyssa) their son, Maddex. Her brother Frederick Williston (Roberta), their children: Christopher Williston (Kim), their children, Kaleb and Sage; Gillian Brech, her children, Celestial, Logan and Hannah. Her brother Ralph Williston (Mary). Her brother Stephen Williston (Janet), their children: Jolene MacDonald, daughter, Kaylee; Timna Briggs (Robert), their children, Evan, Maisie and Lana; Adam Williston (Isabelle). Her brother David Williston (Sylvia), their children: Elise Williston, Eric Williston (Leanne). Survived also by treasured aunt and uncle, Clayton and Betty Williston, as well as several cousins and by the many who befriended her. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Vickie Williston and cousin, Shauna Doucette.
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road Moncton (858-1995) on Tuesday from 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service at Highfield Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 10:00 am with Pastor Troy Dennis officiating. Reception in the church hall following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Special thanks to the dedicated and caring staff of both the Palliative Care unit of The Moncton Hospital and the caregivers of K.E. Spencer Memorial Home.
