Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at her home on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, of Florence Anita Coffin (Dunbar) of Sherwood, age 78 years.
Beloved wife of Lawrence “Larry” Coffin. Dear mother of Paul (Brenda), Joan (Barry Gosby), Beverly (Scott Campbell) and Audrey (Kevin Bissett). Loving grandmother of Becky (Andy), Tyler, Andrew (April), Nathan, Ryan, Sarah, Craig and Jenny and great-grandmother of Kaiden and Kale. She is survived by her sister, Jean Graham (Ken), sisters-in-law, Mary Dunbar, Lillian Ladner and Jeannie Coffin and Evelyn (Duane Frerichs) (Ontario). Florence will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents, Howard and Jenny (Platts) Dunbar of Alma, by her brother, Jack Dunbar, by her brothers-in-law, Larry Gamester, Cecil Ladner and Reverend Dr. Richard Coffin and by her sister-in-law, Alice Gamester.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home. Funeral service Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. from St. John’s United Church, Mount Stewart. Interment in the People’s Cemetery, Mount Stewart.
Visitation Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
