PIGOTT, Burton Alan “Burt” - 65, of Waterville, Kings County, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Alan and Elsie (Webber) Pigott. He had previously owned and operated his own restaurant and catering business. He is survived by his wife, Marlene Elizabeth Steele; a daughter, Lisa (Ghislain) Goudreau, Trenton, Ontario; a son, Robin (Tina) Morse; Greenwood; a step-daughter, Marianne (Darren Drew) Stevens, Aylesford; a sister, Betty (Heinz) Sydow, Auburn, Kings County; a brother, Wendell (Carol), Greenwood; a grandchild; four step-grandchildren; seven nieces and nephews. Visitation was held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2011 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Doctor William Morehead officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later date in the Tremont Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
