SCHNARE, William Walter - 67, formerly of Windsor, Hants County, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2011 in Soldier’s Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Deep Hollow Road, Kings County, he was a son of the late Roland and Minnie (Atwell) Schnare. He lived in the Deep Hollow Road area for 20 years before moving to Windsor. He is survived by three sisters, Donna Lutz, Ontario; Ruth (Emerson) Bennett, Kentville and Patsy Schnare (Tom Corkum), Meadowvale; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Gladys; an infant sister; four brothers, Hugh, Percy, Gordon and Roy; a brother-in-law, Terry Lutz. Visitation was held from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2011 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2011, Blaine Eldridge officiating. Burial took place in the Black River Cemetery, Kings County. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation.
