Sandra Billick

Sandra Norma Kathleen (MacClure) Billick, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Friday, October 14, 2011 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Alex and Doris (Swann) MacClure.
She is survived by her husband, William Billick, her four sons: Billy, Bobby, Michael and Todd (Kim) and her only grandson, Andrew Billick, on whom she showered her love and care. She is also survived by her brothers, Robert (Maxine), Shelburne, Alex (Barbara), Sydney and her two sisters, Karen Russell and Bonnie MacLaren (Miller), one sister-in-law, Tosha MacMillan, several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by sisters-in-law, Gena (Mrs. Leo MacKay) and Mary (Mrs. John Davidson), both of Stellarton, and brother-in-law, William “Bee” Russell.
Sandra was a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church and the Ladies Auxilliary to the Aberdeen Hospital. She took an active role in decorating houses for the Christmas tours. She was well known and admired for her decorating talents, her crafting and her wonderful quilting. We will miss her sharp quick wit, her many acts of kindness and her generosity. The family wishes to thank Dr. Soliman and Dr. Fahim for their care provided to Sandy.
Cremation will take place under the direction of H.W Angus Funeral Homes, New Glasgow. No visitation or service at the request of the deceased.
Donations in memory of Sandra may be made to Nova Scotia Lung Association, The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada¸ Canadian National Institute for the Blind or a charity of one’s choice.
