GALLANT, ANTOINETTE - (1943-2011) - SAINT-IGNACE, NB – It is with deep sadness that we regret to announce the death of Antoinette Gallant, 68, of Saint-Ignace. Antoinette passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital on Monday, October 17th, 2011 comforted by her family’s presence. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Eva (Richard) Chevarie. In addition to her husband; Josephat Gallant and her mother; Eva Chevarie, she will be sadly missed by her two daughters; Nicole Gallant-Landry (Donald) of Saint-Ignace, and Lynne Gallant (Guy Richard) of Ste-Marie-de-Kent and her cherished grandsons; Patrick and Miguel, six sisters; Léa (Alfred) Richard of Aldouane, Maria (Louis) Robichaud of Saint-Charles, Jeannette (Guy) Daigle of Saint John, Yvonne (Bernard) Cormier and Adrienne (Vincent) Bourque of Dieppe and also Julianna (Arthur) Cormier of Acadieville, three brothers; Alcyme (Angèle) of Saint-Charles, Georges (Ida) and Clorice (Claudine) of Saint-Ignace, several nephews, nieces, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law. Antoinette was predeceased by her father Albert (1980) a baby sister; Adrienne (1948). Antoinette was always positive and ready to give a helping hand.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St.-Louis-de-Kent on Tuesday, October 18th, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm and Wednesday at 2:00 pm until the departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on October 19th, 2011 at 4:00 pm at Saint-Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Ignace. Interment will be in Saint-Ignace Cemetery.
