Passed peacefully away at The Salvation Army Glenbrook Lodge on Monday, October 17, 2011, age 94 years. Predeceased by her husband Samuel Gordon. Leaving to mourn son Charles (Barbara), Woodstock, Ont; daughters: Christine Grandy (Arthur/deceased); Dolly Sweetapple (Les); grandchildren: Perry Grandy (Debbie & Stephen), Jeffrey Grandy, Christopher Sweetapple (Toronto, Ont.), Cory Sweetapple (Paulette), Caren Sweetapple-Martin, Kevin Brushett (Sonia), Bolton, Ont., Scott Brushett (Connie), Goderich, Ont., Great-grandchildren: Emily, Miranda, Joshua & Nolan Brushett, (Ont.), Kobe & David Martin and a large circle of relatives and friends, including her friends at the Glenbrook Lodge. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. with visitation on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Service of Thanksgiving and Celebration will be held from The Salvation Army West Corps, Mundy Pond Road on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road.
