Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Sunday, October 16th, 2011, John Joseph “Cuff” Murphy, aged 68 years. Predeceased by his wife Joan; parents Martin and Elizabeth; sisters: Betty and Mary; and brothers: Michael and Ronnie. Leaving to mourn: his daughters: Karen (John Mallard) and Tina Jackman (Charlie Caines); sons: John, Ron (Kim), Martin and Edward; grandchildren: Johnny, Jessica, Michael, Carly and Robyn; brother Jim (Ros); sisters: Sandra (Bob Chafe), Lilly (Dave Campbell), Debbie (Walter Emberley), Linda (Eric Lockyer), Barb (Graham Wilkins) and Ros (Ron Doyle); mother–in–law Ann White and the White family; Canine companion Paddy; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family wishes to say a special thank you to the nurses of 7 west at St. Clare’s and to Dr. Azher and his team for their care and compassion. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday, October 18th, 2011 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, October 19th, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church.
