Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Thursday, October 22, 2009 surrounded by the love of his family, Michael Joseph O’Brien, age 77 years. Predeceased by his parents Theresa and Richard O’Brien, his brother Kevin O’Brien and sisters Shirley O’Brien and Hannah Lunsford. Leaving to mourn his sisters: Helen (Kevin Voisey), Marg (the late Frank Myler), Marie (Ed Burkhart) of Florida, Mary (Bill Bavis), Betty (Frank Fowler) and Pat (Mike Buist). Also will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, good friends and neighbours. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Saturday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, October 26th from St. Patrick's Church with cremation to follow.
