The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, October 17, 2011, of Mrs. Anita Mary Jarvis (nee Cheverie) of Charlottetown and formerly of Souris age 70 years.
Beloved wife of Auldin and dear mother of Jim, Anne, Auldine, Arlene (Roger) Gallant, Angela (Frank) Gallant, Aubie (Norma), Aaron (Michelle) and Alana. She is also lovingly remembered by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her sisters Joyce Chabot (Jerry - deceased), Cecilia Cheverie (Reg McNally), Arlene Van Diest (Steven) and her brother Kenny Murphy (Eileen).
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 1:45 on Friday, then transferred to St. Pius X Church, Charlottetown, for funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
