It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Gerard, age 82 yrs., of Topsail. Predeceased by sons Christopher and Vaughan. Leaving with many happy memories his wife of sixty years, Geraldine; children: Gerard (Anne), Christina (Roland Jr.,), Paul, Ian (Larry), Darlene (David), Tracy (Terry); grandchildren: Angela (John), Vaughan (Valerie), Joel (Kaylin), Alexa, Erica, Cameron and Abigail; great-grandchildren: Madeline, Dawson, Serena; sister Helen (Jim); brother Jimmy (Aggie); sisters-in-law: Shirley, Mercedes (George), Irene, Rita; special niece Diane. Cremation has taken place. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Family Church, Paradise on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 1 p.m. Inurnment in the RC Cemetery Topsail.
