Passed peacefully away at Western Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, Marjorie Bailey of Old Bonaventure, aged 84 years. Predeceased by husband Oscar and sister Mary Barnes. Left with fond and loving memories her daughters: Bernice Vokey (Wilson Hopkins) and Barbara Field (Don); sons: Raymond (Edith), Garland (Daphne), Maurice (Maxine Baker) and Olonzo (Beverly); sisters: Josephine Peterson, Beatrice Moore and Evelyn Toope (Calvin); brothers: Allan King and Reginald King (Annie); 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at St. John Anglican Church, New Bonaventure. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2009 from St. John Anglican Church, New Bonaventure with interment at Anglican Cemetery, Old Bonaventure. In her memory, flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
