It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elizabeth Rose Payne announces her passing on Tuesday October 18, at Dr. Charles L Legrow Health Center at the age of 87 years. Born at Robinson's NL, Rose was the daughter of the late Leonard and Mary Hulan, she was also predeceased by her husband Isaac Payne, brother Clement Hulan, son-in-law Calvin Warren. She leaves to mourn with many fond and precious memories her loving family, daughters; Barbara (Art) Walters Port aux Basques, Sharon (Bob Beauchamp) Torbay NL, grandchildren Jeffrey (Joanne) Halifax NS, Jason Toronto ON, Jackie Port aux Basques NL, Natasha Carleton Place ON, Natalie St. John's NL, Colin Flat Rock NL, great-grandchildren Daniel, Christopher, Cole, Evan, Dakota, Chloe, Jayda, brothers William (Thursa ) Hulan Jeffreys NL, George (Mary) Hulan Mount Pearl NL, Lynn (Geraldine) Jeffreys NL, sister Christina Hulan Mckay's NL, sisters-in-law Alice Hulan Corner Brook NL, Margaret (Jack) Ford St. John's NL, Alma Chaisson Dartmouth NS, Phoebe Payne, Margie Payne, Kay Payne all of Port aux Basques NL, special cousin Olga Pieorway Stephenville NL, special friend Bill Ramsay and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends including her friends at Mountain Hope Manor. Visitation took place on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at East Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services took place on Thursday October 20, 2 PM at St. James Anglican Church, Channel officiated by Rev. Louise Richards. Interment followed at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill.
