
Christopher M. Fewer
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing, after a life long battle with cerebral palsy, of Christopher M. Fewer of St. John’s, formerly of Avondale, on Wednesday, October 19th, 2011. Predeceased by grandmother and grandfather, Catherine (Kitty) & Otto Costello of Avondale. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved son Christopher Jr.; his parents Violet and Joseph Smith of Avondale; his sister Katie; brothers: Des, Stephen (Anita) of Alberta and Rodney (Charlene) of New Zealand; nephews: Tommy Moore, Eric Williams, Stephen, Jordan and Brandon Fewer and Logan Fewer; niece Maddison Fewer; special uncle Leonard Costello (Pat), Labrador City and uncle Stephen Costello of Philadelphia; also good friend and neighbor Gladys and a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation Thursday from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m., Friday from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 12 noon. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Saturday, October 22nd, at 2 p.m. from Assumption Church, Avondale. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Newfoundland Autism Society.
