It is with sadness that the families of the late Dorothy Edith Jackman announce her passing on October 19, 2011 at the Carmelite Seniors Home, Grand Falls-Windsor, aged 84. Dorothy is predeceased by her husband, Kevin; daughter, Helen; sisters, Muriel Boland, and Marguerite Crewe; brothers, Raymond Hayley, and Manse Hayley. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are children, Patricia Jackman of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Kevin (Judy) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Gary (Shirley) of Halifax, NS, and Glen of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, grand-children, Kimberley, Amanda, Kenny and David; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Rachel, and Benjamin; sisters, Winnie (Alex) Tremblett, and Pearl (Stan) Abbott; brothers, Gordon (Vida) Hayley, and Clyde (Wavey) Hayley; sisters-in-law, Agge Hayley, Cavelle Jackman, and Nellie Cull as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, relative and friends. The visitation took place Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 7-9 pm and Friday October 21, 2011 at 2-4 and 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. The funeral mass took place, October 22, 2011 at 2 pm from The Cathedral Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church with Father William Hearn officiating.
