VERVILLE, Louise - 54, Salmon River, Colchester County. In the presence of her husband and three children, Louise (Rémillard) Verville passed away peacefully on Monday, October 17, 2011, at Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro, just days after being diagnosed with cancer. Born in Sherbrooke, Québec, she was the youngest daughter of Napoléon Jr. Rémillard and Laurette Labbé. Louise is survived by her husband, Serge Verville; children, Marie-Claude (Devin) MacCallum, Salmon River, Colchester County; Julie (Jean Hugh) Levesque, Legal, Alberta; François (Rachael) Verville, Cold Lake, Alberta; grandchildren, Ryan, Samantha and Anaëlle. She also leaves behind her sister, Denise; brothers, Pierre and Yves; many nieces, nephews and the rest of her extended family. A dedicated mother, Louise raised her children while living in various parts of the country and overseas as a military spouse often having to rely on herself for several months at a time. She also provided care to the elderly at Ocean View Manor, Eastern Passage for several years. A loving and caring mother & friend, she always placed the needs of others before her own whilst being thankful and thoughtful to everyone until her last breath. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of Colchester Regional Hospital for their excellent care and compassion, and with special thanks to Shelly and Theresa who were like angels to Louise. She will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her. At her request, there will not be a formal service. A celebration of her life will be held at home with her family.
