The death occurred peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of Prince Edward Home, Charlottetown, on Thursday October 20, 2011, of William "Bill" Pierce Garnham of North Milton, age 81.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Nanne (Coles); his daughter, Barbara Curley (Pat); his sons, George and Brent (Dianne); sisters and brothers-in-law, Bev Garnham, Howard Coles (Marjorie - deceased), Audrey Myers (Wendell), Heather MacDonald (Dunstan) and John Coles (Gail); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Brent and Ethel (Heaney) Garnham; and his brother, Paul.
Remains have been donated to the Dalhousie Medical School for medical research. A memorial service will be held at St. John's Anglican Church, Milton, on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 11 a.m.
Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the P.E.I. Branch of the Canadian Diabetes Association, St. John's Anglican Church or Hospice Palliative Care would be appreciated.
