
James Larlee
LARLEE, JAMES ROBERT “BOB” - James Robert "Bob" Larlee passed away peacefully at the Peace Arch Memorial Hospital in White Rock, BC on October 20, 2011 after a long illness at the age of 59. Mourned by his wife Janice Weaver Larlee, his sister Jane Larlee Addison, and his brothers, John (Margaret), Peter and Neil (Louise Ouellette) and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Born in Edmundston, NB, to Darrell Emerson and Frances Jane Larlee (nee McLean), Bob spent his early years in Campbellton, NB. He attended Kings College School, Windsor, NS and graduated from Polyvalent Restigouche Sr. High, Campbellton, NB. Bob pursued further study at St. Thomas University, Fredericton, NB where he obtained a BA in 1976. Bob enjoyed acting, singing, skiing, travelling and regaling his friends and family with humorous anecdotes. Bob was active in his local Royal Canadian Legion, No. 240 having served on the executive. He was involved in many of the Legion’s charitable activities.
A celebration of Bob’s life and a reception will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 1 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Crescent Branch, 2643 - 128th Street, Surrey, B.C. V4A 3W6. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the White Rock South Surrey Hospice Society, 15510 Russell Avenue, White Rock, BC V4B 2R3
