It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our dear wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Molly Ouellette. Molly died Friday, October 21, 2011 at the Northside General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born in North Sydney, she was a daughter of the late William Owen and Catherine (Osborne) Dolomont.
Molly joined the RCAF in 1952 as a Safety Technician and soon after met Luc Ouellette. They would marry the following year and spend the next 58 years together. While stationed in Germany, Molly also worked as a member of the dietary staff at the Base Hospital.
After they retired to North Sydney, Molly became involved with the Northside General Hospital as a former member and President of the Ladies Auxiliary, and helped operate the canteen located within the hospital for many years. She was a lady of great faith, and at one time was an active member of St. Joseph Church, North Sydney, volunteering with the Religious Education Committee, as well as the CWL until her health began to fail. Molly and Luc were devoted Foster Parents and welcomed many children into their home over the years.
Molly enjoyed cooking and baking and camping in Lake-O-Law. There was always an abundance of fun, laughter and joy whenever family members and friends gathered at the family home. Mom had a great sense of humour and wit, she always enjoyed a good joke or prank. She was very loving, generous and caring person, and we will forever miss her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Luc; her daughter, Cathy (Manny) Hatcher, North Sydney; her sons, Andre Ouellette (Lisa Monroe), Westmount, Ronald (Tracy) Ouellette, Stellarton, NS; her grandchildren, Gord, Kimberly, Cole, Zach, Nicholas, Joseph, Jacob; her great grandson, Rhys; sisters, Bridget Fudger, North Sydney, Frances Sheffield, Sydney Mines; brother Mike (Linda) Dolomont, North Sydney; several nieces and nephews; her friend of many years, Ruth Pyke, as well as her caregiver, Daphne Porter.
Molly was predeceased by her sisters, Theresa Dooley, Joan Fennell, Mary Bradbury, Shirley MacInnis; brothers, Jack, Ronald, Bill and Jim Dolomont; and several brothers-in-law.

Under the wide and starry sky
Dig my grave and let me lie.
Glad did I live and gladly die,
And I laid me down with a will.
This be the verse you grave for me;
Here he lies where he longed to be.
Home is the sailor, home from the sea,
And the hunter home from the hill.
It can be my epitaph anytime.
