
Sherman Morrison
MORRISON, SHERMAN J. - Sherman J. Morrison, 82, of Salem, NH and formerly of North Andover died peacefully at the Holy Family Hospital in the presence of his loving family. Sherman John Morrison, a native of Brookline, MA was born to Ida (Rudnick) Morrison and Meyer Morrison on August 9, 1929. He attended the Devotion School in Brookline, the New Preparatory School in Cambridge, Boston University and the Bentley School of Business. Sherman was a longtime resident of North Andover, MA. He was President and Founder of Walls N All, Inc. with five stores in Massachusetts and the Southern New Hampshire area. He loved his business and customers, and had a reputation for being able to match paint with any color long before the computer. He was past president of the "Men of Merrimack College" and the B'Nai Brith in Saint John, New Brunswick. He also served on the Foundation Board at Northern Essex Community College. Sherman loved the sea, was a summer resident of Seabrook Beach and enjoyed spending his winters in Palm Beach. He is survived by his best friend, soul mate and wife Judith (Cyr) Morrison of Salem, NH: children Mark Morrison (Catherine), Windsor, Ontario, Debra Morrison, MD (Lawrence Title, MD), Halifax, Nova Scotia, Nancy Morrison (Peter Conley), Quispamsis, New Brunswick, Robin Morrison-Claus (James Claus), Newmarket Ontario, and Anna Enos (Francis) Hampstead, NH; a brother Richard S. Morrison (Shirley); and grandchildren Joshua and Sarah Morrison, Michaela and Ethan Title, Jennifer and Alex Claus as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday 10:00 AM at St. Michael's Church, burial will follow in Ridgewood Cemetery, both in North Andover. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 4 to 8 pm at the Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third Street, North Andover, MA 01845.
