The children of the late Mary Dwyer of Heatherton wish to express their appreciation to the many friends and relatives and to all who helped with visits, gifts of food, cards, flowers, and expressions of comfort following the recent loss of our mother.


To our MacPherson aunts and uncles, we thank you always for your continuing love and support. Thanks to Roy Barnes for digging the grave. To Father Collins, thank you for travelling so far on your birthday to deliver a beautiful liturgy; thanks to Andy Tobin and the St. Georges Adult Choir for also travelling to Heatherton to bring your beautiful music to the funeral. We thank Barbara Kovich and Elaine Wells for lending their superb organizational skills to the planning of the wake and funeral. Thanks to the Lee family of St. Georges for travelling to Heatherton every day to offer their support during this difficult time.

Mom loved her family and friends, she loved the Church, and she loved her community; she spent almost her entire 92 years in Heatherton, and her greatest wish was to remain in her own home as long as possible. She did just that with the support and encouragement of her neighbours, especially Harold Halbot, Mickey and Isabel MacDonald, Linda and Gordie Barry and Venita and Kevin Young. Your acts of kindness and support will be remembered always.
