PARK, PENNY - It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden death of Penny Lita Margret Park of Oromocto, NB on Saturday, October 22, 2011. Born on January 19, 1988, she was the cherished daughter of Lynn (Yavis) and Mike Park. She was their gift from God. Penny had a great joy for life and enjoyed being with her family and friends. She loved the outdoors, camping and animals. Penny attended Oromocto High School, graduated from Horton High School in Greenwich, Nova Scotia, and graduated from the Nova Scotia Community College. Penny will be missed by her parents, her partner Shawn Kirby, her sisters Sabrina, Alexis and Sidney, maternal grandparents Helen and Christopher Yavis, paternal grandparents Daphne and Frank Murphy, Shawn's family, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home, Oromocto, NB (357-5100) on Tuesday, October 25th, 2011 from 7 to 9 pm. The memorial mass will take place at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 26th, 2011 at 11:00 am. Father Ken Weir will officiate.
