January 3, 1922 - October 22, 2011. Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, at the age of 89 years, Meta Chaulk. Predeceased by her husband Albert. Leaving to mourn her children: Chris (Dorothy), Denise, Ottawa, ON, Annette, Michelle (Byron Derksen), Ottawa, ON; brother: Edmund (Mary) Mouland, Gander; sister-in-law Hilda Murray (Murdo); brother-in-law Cliff Chaulk (Pamela) Richmond, ON; grandchildren: Albert and Stacey Chaulk, Tara, Rachel and Krista Derksen; as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl from 7-9 p.m. on Monday and from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday. Funeral Service on Wednesday, October 26, 2011at 2:00 p.m. from Barrett’s Mount Pearl Chapel. Cremation to follow.
