WILLIAMS, Catherine Marie “Cathy” - 66, of Kentville, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 17, 2011 in the Victoria General site of the QE II Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Port Hope, Ontario, she was a daughter of Leona (Clarke) Wilson, Barrie, Ontario and the late Gus Wilson. She owned and operated The Happy Whale Day Care and Nursery School and enjoyed rug hooking. She was a member of St. James Anglican Church, Kentville where she had been active with the ACW. She is survived by her husband, James “Jim”; three daughters, Christina Williams, New Market, Ontario; Heather Williams, Toronto and Jaymie Williams, Kentville; a sister, Margaret (Wayne) Pacey, Barrie, Ontario; a brother, James “Jim”, Ottawa; two grandchildren, Halle and Joseph, nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Visitation was held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2011 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. The funeral service followed by a reception was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2011 in St. James Anglican Church, Kentville, Archdeacon Lynn Uzans officiating. Burial took place in the Garden of Rest Cemetery - The Anglican Parish of St. James. Donations in memory may be made to the St. James Anglican Church Building Fund or to a charity of your choice.
