NORMAN, Peter William (Bill) — Formerly of Red Island, Placentia Bay. Passed away peacefully on December 13, 2008, surrounded by his family, at the Health Sciences Centre at age 75. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 51 years Nellie Helen (nee Duke), and with fond cherished memories: son Bill (Wanda) and daughters Wanda Slade (Norm), Jane O\'Keefe (Louie), Goldie Josephine Griffiths (Pat). Will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Billy Norman (Kayla) with great grandchild Hailey, Jonathan Norman, Charles (Chuck) Norman, Lyell Slade, Gillian Slade, Siobhan O\'Keefe (John) with great grandchildren Faith and Myah, Shannon O\'Keefe (Kevin) with great grandchild Parker, Shane O\'Keefe, Joseph Griffiths and Patrick Griffiths and sisters Sadie Kerrivan, Jenny Collier as well as his brother and sisters in law along with a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A special thank you to the helpful staff of the Intensive Care Unit. Resting at Maher’s Funeral Home, Placentia on Monday from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Sacred Heart Parish, Placentia. Interment to follow at Rev.
