We regret to announce the sudden passing of David Boutilier, 57, of Hillside Boularderie, on Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, at the Northside General Hospital.
Born in North Sydney, he was the son of Rita (Gouthro) Boutilier and the late Gerald Boutilier.
He was a member of St. Joseph parish, Bras d’Or.
David was employed with Joneljim Construction until the time of his death.
Besides his mother, Rita, David is survived by his sons, Shane and Lawrence and his grandson, Cody. He is also survived by his brothers, Remi (Gloria) and Kevin (Glenda).
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place under the care and direction of J.M. Jobes Funeral Home, Main Street, Sydney Mines. A memorial mass celebrating David’s life will be held in St. Joseph Church, Bras d’Or, Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Peter MacLeod officiating. The burial will be in the parish cemetery.
