Bertram
The death occurred at his home in Hazel Grove on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, of Harvey Bertram, age 64. Harvey was the beloved husband of Velda (nee Smith); loving father of Gregory, Vancouver, Allan (Katie), Vancouver, and Kimberley Taweel (Michael), Hazel Grove; and dear grandfather of Oliver and Simon Bertram, and Lilly, Gabriel and Isaac Taweel. He is also survived by his sisters and brother, Evelyn Bertram, Elaine Folland, Viola Gibson, Doris MacKinnon (Kenneth), Helena Stead (Brian) and Blaine (Mary Anne); sisters-in-law, Helen Smith-McIntyre, Margaret Smith (Gordon) and Lois Lajeunesse (Denis); brother-in-law, Wilfred Smith (Evelyn); and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Harvey was predeceased by his parents, Waldon and Irene (Stevenson) Bertram; and his parents-in-law, Harry and Inez (Andrews) Smith. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Rd., New Glasgow, for visitation on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral will be held at the Central Queens United Church, Hunter River, on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011 at 2 p.m. Interment in the Hunter River United Church Cemetery.
