It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Rosina ‘Rose’ Clark, on October 25, 2011 at home.
Born in Sydney Mines she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary (Yaffalo) DeMarco.
Rose was a member of St. Pius X Church.
She is survived by daughters, Mary Ryan, Sydney Mines, Marie (Klaus) Wiesner, Ont; sons, Robert (Rose) Clark, North Sydney, Francis, Montreal; grandchildren, Bob (Lori), Johnny, Dean, Mary Frances and Trina and her two cherished great grandchildren, Jessie and Cody; brother, Carmen (Ethel Mae); sisters, Cecilia and Nora; many nieces and nephews and her faithful companion her dog Sophie.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Clark; son in law, Thomas Ryan; brothers and sisters, Anthony, Russell, Mary and Lena.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, October 28, from Fillmore and Whitman Funeral Home, Sydney Mines. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Sydney Mines.
