BORN IN WINDSOR, ONTARIO
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grand-mother.
Dorothy was surrounded by her husband Earl and her children, Sharon (Manuel), James, Deborah (Mel) & Douglas. She will be deeply missed by her ten grandchildren & nine great grandchildren. Her love of her grandchildren and great grandchildren will be sorely missed. She was so anxious to meet her 2 new additions in February and had her knitting needles working overtime.
Dorothy is also survived by her brother Jim Wilkie (Barb) and Pat Sully (John), both living in Ontario.
Dorothy graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Toronto, Ontario in 1951. Dorothy was a RN who enjoyed her profession and worked hard ensuring she provided the best care. Dorothy retired from the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops and is remembered to this day by her nursing friends in Toronto, Ontario and San Jose, CA. Dorothy's network of friends was coast to coast in both Canada and the United States.
Dorothy was a very dedicated wife and much loved by her husband Earl. They were to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on November 16th.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Anglemont Senior Center.
Should friends desire, donations to St. David's On The Lake Church in Celista would be appreciated in her memory.
