TRENTON – James William Malloy, age 73, of the Shiretown Nursing Home, Pictou, formerly of Trenton, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2011 in the home.
Born in Lochaber, he was a son of the late Harold and Ethel (MacMillan) Malloy.
He was a retired truck driver for a Meat Packing Co. in Saint John, NB.
He is survived by a son James “Jamie”, Saint John, NB; best friend and former wife June March; sisters, Florence, Pictou; Shirley (Edward) Royles, Central West River; brothers, Stanley (Rose), Pictou; Reuben (Jane), Stellarton; nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request. A public graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hillside Cemetery with Mr. Fergie MacKay officiating.
Donations in his memory may be made to the S.P.C.A. or Aberdeen Palliative Care Society.
Arrangements are under the direction of the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, Trenton.
