Earl passed away at home on Wednesday, October 26, 2011. He was born November 11, 1936 in Rosthern and grew up on a farm near Carlton before training as an electrician. Earl and Helen spent much of their lives farming in the Spring Valley district where they also operated Spring Valley Electric before retiring to Moose Jaw. In their retirement, Earl and Helen enjoyed many camping trips and vacations with their friends. Earl was predeceased by his parents, Anton and Marion and is survived by his wife of 45 years, Helen (nee: Morhart) and their family: Kevin (Jennifer) and sons, Keelan and Aden; Kelvin (Melanie) and sons Justin, Landon and Logan; Wesley (Carla) and children Toni Ann, Alex and Emma; Karen (Bill) Pacholka and children John and Elan. He is also survived by his brother, Elmer (Sally), sister, Ruth (Joe) Smith as well as many nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Church of Our Lady, 566 Vaughan Street, Moose Jaw. Reverend Father Carlos Jimenez will be Presiding Celebrant. Memorialization will follow at Rosedale Outdoor Columbarium. A Prayer Service will be held Friday evening (Oct. 28th) at 7:30 p.m. in the W. J. Jones & Son Chapel, 106 Athabasca St. E., Moose Jaw.
