Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Health Center, Gander, on October 25, 2011, Dorothy Greene, age 87 years. Predeceased by husband Gerard Greene, daughter Shirleen (Greene) Mesh, daughter-in-law Marlene Greene. Left with loving memories are sons Gerard of Orleans, ON; Cameron (Edith) of Airdrie, AB; daughters Irene (Dave) Sheppard of Lewisporte, Pamela (Dave) Soucy of Gander; grandchildren Michele and Andrew Soucy, Janie Mesh, Bill Greene, Nicholas Greene, Kerilee Sheppard- Benmansour, Lynne, Peter, and Dane Sheppard; great-grandchildren Jane and Max Swift, Liam Tweedie, Morgane and Alhana Benmansour, special friend Ida Locke, also a large circle of family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitations took from Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander. Funeral Mass was held on Monday, October 31 at 11:00 am from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Gander. Interment at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy’s memory may be made to St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Gander.
