The family of the late Elsie Violet Simmons wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who showed concern and support during her illness and passing.

We express sincere appreciation for the countless acts of kindness, cards and messages of sympathy, flowers, donations to charitable organizations and gifts of food that were received.

Our deepest gratitude is extended to all those who cared for Elsie during her illness. A special thank you to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit, Western Memorial Regional Hospital, as well as Dr. Margaret Culliton for her caring and compassion over many years.

A special thank you to Major Calvin Fudge for his strength, prayers and support during Elsie’s illness and the days that followed including the Memorial Service. Thank you to David Wells for the gift of music and to Country Haven Funeral Home for their professionalism during difficult days.
