Age 59, passed peacefully away on October 13th 2011, after a two year battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents, George Walbourne and Effie Slade, Step father Richard Slade, brother-in-law Brendan and niece Michelle Sparkes. Wilfred will always be remembered by his loving family, son Sheldon(Lynn) their children, Hannah and Jaxxon, daughter Melanie(Stacey) their children, Hayden and Hudson. Sisters Ruby (Brendon) and their children, Darlene, Donna (Paul) and their son Nathan. June (Brian), Harry (Natasha) their children, Rylan and Gage. Matilda (Rick) her daughter Linda (Norm) their children, Heather, William, Natalie and Mark. Step Brother Ian (Audrey) their children Vaughan, and Tyson. May and her children, Tamala and Trevor, Jackie and her family, and many more family and friends. Wilfred was a kind and gentle man, with a great sense of humor. He loved his family and cherished the friendships he made over the years. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Wilfred had a tremendous spirit and never complained about all he had to go through. He was a fighter right to the end.
