STELLARTON – Eleanor Elizabeth Bonvie, 72, of Stellar Street, Stellarton, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011 in the Aberdeen Hospital.
Born in Stellarton, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Alphonse and Catherine (Pellerine) Duff.
Eleanor enjoyed bingo and playing cards but most important was the time she spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: James (Kim), Susan, Sandra (Donald) Terris and Alison (Dale), grandchildren: Sarah and Matthew Terris, Amanda (Adam) Comer, Tyler and Nicholas MacArthur, Ryan Peddle; great-grandchildren, Brody Robson, Hannah and Olivia Comer and Jaxson Peddle; brothers, John (Sharon) Duff and Robert Duff
She was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, James Henry Sr., and a brother in infancy.
As per Eleanor’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral.
Donations in her name may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society.
The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the nursing staff of the Aberdeen Hospital and especially those of the Palliative Care Unit. They are indeed special people.
