Entered into eternal life at McAuley Convent, October 26, 2009, Sister Mary Philippa Reddy, age 92 years. Predeceased by parents James and Mary Anne (Murphy) Reddy of Red Island, NL, her brothers: Michael, Jerry, Dennis, Leonard and Jim and sisters: Sister Mary Clarissa, RSM, Sister Mary Anita, RSM, Sister Mary Loretta, Sister of the Visitation, Laura, Julia and Mary. Leaving to mourn her Religious Congregation the Sisters of Mercy; her special niece Mary (Gerald) King and many devoted nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, cousins and close friends. Waking at McAuley Convent, 250 Waterford Bridge Road, St. John’s on Monday, October 26, 2009, 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, October 27, 2009 until 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 28, 2009, 9:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish Church, Waterford Bridge Road with interment to follow at the Sisters of Mercy plot in Belvedere Cemetery.
