JANES, Garfield Alfred David — Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family and friends on Friday, October 28, 2011. Garfield Janes aged 70 years. Predeceased by his parents John and Lovelette Janes. Leaving to mourn his devoted wife Suzanne; sons: Baxter and Howard; daughter Eva (Colin); sister Marie Murrin; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Saturday, October 29, 2011, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., as well as Sunday, October 30, 2011, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Barrett’s Chapel on Monday, October 31, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Garfield’s memory may be made to the Newfoundland and Labrador Brain Injury Association, or the Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter of the Canadian Mental Health Association.
