Phyllis Marie (Bulmer) Ogden
1925-2009
Sackville, N.B.- It is with sadness that the family of Phyllis M. (Bulmer) Ogden-Jackson, announce her passing on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Phyllis was 84 years of age.
Born in Sackville, N.B. on August 4, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Ellsworth Wallace Bulmer and Beatrice Nora Bowser.
Phyllis was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #26, Sackville and an avid supporter of the Legion. Phyllis was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Phyllis will be sadly missed by her daughter, Dale Cordy-Fisher (Ogden) and her husband Sterling Fisher of Dartmouth, N.S.; five sisters, Doris, Maddie, Betty, Thelma and Ruthie; two grandsons, Christopher Warren (Karen) of Ontario, and Shannon Cordy of Cape Breton, and her granddaughter Julienne Marie Cordy of Cape Breton; great-grandson Ty Warren of Ontario; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband Carl Ogden and by her second husband George Jackson.
Arrangements were entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Visitation took place at the funeral home on Monday, October 26, 2009, from 6-8 p.m. The funeral service was held from Campbell’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Father Kevin Stockall officiating. A time of reception was shared following the service. Internment in the Sackville Cemetery.
