Mina Frances Hicks
Mina Frances Hicks, age 93, of Hamilton, formerly of Sackville, passed away at St. Peters Hospital, Hamilton on Sunday, October 25, 2009.
Beloved wife of the late Denzil (1998). Loving mother of Margaret (Alex) Grant of Sackville, N.B., Carol (the late Jay) Dumouchel, Lillian Smith, Vincent Hicks, all of Stoney Creek, Ont., Anna (Gerry) MacLeod, Ernest (Darlene) Hicks, all of Fredericton, N.B., Inez (Doug) Budd of Burlington, Ont., Brian (Mary) Hicks of Dunnville, Ont., and Susan (Bob) Berry of Waterdown, Ont. Dear Grammie of 31 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren. Predeceased by many brothers and sisters.
Following services in Ontario, Mina’s remains will be returned home into the care of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will take place on Friday, October 30, 2009 from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral serivce. The funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday from the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Point de Bute Cemetery.
