MacDonald, Earl Boyd – 72, Truro, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2009 at home, surrounded by his loving family. Earl was born in 1937 in Tatamagouche. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed. Earl is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Joan MacDonald, Truro; beloved mother, Berthena MacDonald, Truro; treasured daughters, Marilyn (Stewart) Terry, North River, Karen Dawe, Bible Hill; sons, Kevin (Cindy) MacDonald, Old Barns, James MacDonald, Truro. Earl was predeceased by his father, Frank MacDonald. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m., Friday, October 30, and a service to celebrate Earl’s life will be held on Saturday, October 31 at 2 p.m., Leland MacLean officiating, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro.
