Passed peacefully away at the Bonavista Hospital, Bonavista, on October 28, 2011, Martin Dooley, age 74, from Plate Cove. Predeceased by his parents, William and Annie Dooley and companion, Kathleen Power (2011). Leaving to mourn are his brothers, John (Isabelle), Patrick and Leonard (Stella); step children, Gerald (Dorothy), Stella (Leonard), Connie (Gordie), Edith, Jimmy (Margo), Irving, Craig (Kerry), Paul, Paula; 23 step grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren and other family and friends. Rested at the Roman Catholic Church, Plate Cove from where the funeral service, officiated by Father Brian Colbert, took place on Monday, October 31st, 2011 with interment following. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vardy's Funeral Home, Random Island.
