July 6th, 1955 - October 28th, 2011. Passed peacefully away at Hr. Lodge Carbonear on October 28th, 2011. Mr. Gordon Mercer of Upper Island Cove age 56 years. Pre-deceased by his father Lawrence. Leaving to mourn his loving mother Shirley, 2 brothers Herbert (Elizabeth), Carbonear. Frank (Ruby), Alberta. All aunts ,uncles, neices and nephews and a large circle of other friends and relatives. Resting at Lynch's Funeral Home ,Spaniard's Bay. Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at St. Peters Anglican Church, Upper Island Cove. Interment to follow at St. Peters Anglican cemetery Visitation at Lynch's funeral home, Saturday Oct. 29th, from 7pm. to 9pm. Sunday Oct. 30th, from 10am to 9pm. and Monday Oct. 31st, from 10am. to 12noon. No flowers by request However donations in his memory may be made to the Gordon Mercer memorial fund.
