The death occurred peacefully at the Garden Home, Charlottetown, on Sunday, October 30, 2011, of Mary Anne Gaudin (nee Gallant), formerly of North Rustico, age 91.
Mary Anne is survived by her loving daughters, Pauline Pineau (David) and Claire Gaudin (Brian Gallant); cherished grandchildren, Sheldon (Angela), Dwayne (Ashley), Aaron, and Shannon (Mike Cameron); and Jacob, Evan (Olivia Dolphin) and Christian; great-grandchildren, Lucas, Destiny and Jayden; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerard; sisters, Melanie Gallant, Bertha Gallant and Yvonne Arsenault (Willie); brother-in-law, Joseph Gaudin (Hermine); sisters-in-law, Mary Perry (Bert) and Sister Marion Gaudin.
Resting at Central Queen's Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Tuesday, November 1, 2011, from 2 to 4 and 7-9 p.m.
The CWL will hold a prayer service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1:45 p.m.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico, on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Stella Maris Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Stella Maris Cemetery would be appreciated.
