At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, October 28, 2011, of Leigh J. Ramsay of Margate, aged 64 years.
Born in Summerside on May 30, 1947, son of Priscilla (Millar) Ramsay, Summerside, and the late Rev. Allison Ramsay. Husband of Frances E. (Pickard) Ramsay. Father of David (Bryn), Schurman’s Point; Jamie (Sherri), Margate; and Sarah (Thomas) Ogilvie, Charlottetown. Granddad to Nancy, Liam, Desmond, Lauren and Tom Ramsay and Baby Ogilvie. Brother of Donald (Beverley), Tyne Valley; Sheila (Robert) Partridge, Newmarket, ON; Gordon (Anne), Mill River; Geoffrey (Kathleen), Dieppe, N.B.; Anne (Glen) Hawkins, Murray River; and Elmer (Tanya), Montague. Brother-in-law of Bruce (Janet) Pickard, Cumberland and Russell (Janet) Pickard, Moncton, N.B. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Rev. Allison Ramsay, parents-in-law Lily and Milton Pickard and sister-in-law Carol Pickard.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment in the Margate Cemetery.
